Open Up and Say... Ahh!
To put this band’s success in proportion to that of some of their peers, I will site a statistic. I don’t do this very often because things could change by the time you read this, but to make a point… In 1990, Motley Crue was largely considered the most influential 80’s metal band and to date, their best selling album was Dr. Feelgood, a multi-platinum effort that sold over four million copies. This was Poison’s second album, and it sold more than FIVE million. Make of that what you will, but all I’m saying is even though it’s become cool to hate poison, a lot of people liked this band and their catchy songs, whether they want to admit it now or not. This is a good cd. --
