The Very Best Of
A good sampling of some of Winger’s best work. Pulling four or five songs from each of their three albums, this release showcases the band’s career in reverse order and highlights it with a couple of unreleased songs, making it an immediate must have for any fan. The extra two songs alone are worth the cost of the compilation. Both out takes from the Pull album they were obviously cut for time reasons because both tracks are good enough to hold their own. But even without them, this is a sharply packaged product with well written liner notes that remind you the impact this band had in their all too short reign of success atop the pop-metal heap in the late 80s. --
