Adams, Bryan
18 'til I Die
I've always liked Bryan Adams and strongly admired his versatility. Here's a man who'll write the most sensitive ballad in the world, and then knock you on your ass with some hard-hitting rock 'n' roll. He's collaborated with everyone from Motley Crue to Barbra Streisand. I really love this record, from the sexy, metal sounds of "The Only Thing..." to the spare acoustic ballad "I'll Always Be Right There," to the flamenco guitar of "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" (from the film "Don Juan De Marco"). Through it all, the connecting link is his husky, sexy, smoky voice, the kind of voice I've always loved. This is just a really bitchin' album. --Anonymous
