Unbreakable
Well, it’s not quite Love at First Sting, but it IS way better than their last new studio album,1999’s dismal Eye II Eye. To be honest, I didn’t think this band had it in them anymore. They’ve been trying to re-create Winds of Change and it’s success since 1990 and that single focus had them teaming up with an orchestra, and making an acoustic album and releasing three different greatest hits packages in the last 14 years -- All signs of a band taking their final bows on the way out. That being said, this is the best cd they’ve made in twenty years. This might truly be the first time a band has EVER said they were going to return to their roots and then actually did it. This is the Scorpions you remember. This cd is solid. --
