Maybe writing hits for other artists drains Mr. Sabu to the point that his own projects have nothing left in the well. This is standard arena rock with standard arena rock themes. Everyone performs capably and there are some hooks, but not many. Hang Tough is a tasty rocker, though. --johnk5150
