This Conversation Seems Like A Dream

Wow. Who could have predicted this? I never even saw it coming. Having been a Winger fan for years and eagerly running home to play this cd, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t HUGELY disappointed. Completely blindsided. It wasn’t until years later that I developed an appreciation for this cd. I had played it many times since then but your perspective changes when your expectations go from “new cd by one of my favorite metal singers” to “a cd I hated when I got it.” In the right mood with no expectations of metal influences, I can still appreciate the passion in his voice, the creativity of his vocal melodies and the inspiration of some of his arrangements. But I still miss Winger. --Scott
