Vicious Circle
Fine Line
Vicious Circle's most obvious comparison would be Tesla, but they have a harder edge. If you took Tesla and lost that bluesy influence, and replaced it with a heavier, early Alice in Chains vibe mixed with a little Fate's Warning, and then replaced Tesla's hippy outlook with a darker attitude, then you would have Vicious Circle. From the opening riff of Dream Ride, through the grinding remake of I'm Not Your Stepping Stone, to the soft beauty of Betrayed, the raw emotion and drive behind this band is always evident. The production is a little muddy and the pace could have been mixed a little more, but the band still shouldn't be overlooked. I'm waiting for their next one... --
